  Shipping Cost * Shipping Times  * Policies
Shipping Cost and methods:
Due to the size, weight and boxing requirements, it is almost impossible to calculate shipping though our web sites shopping cart.  We're sorry for this inconvenience.  Shipping cost are figured mostly by length. Items over 60" cost more, while items over 84" cost even more.  All shipping cost are actual shipping cost from the shippers, no extra fees.  If you would like to know estimated shipping cost before we ship your item, please contact us for that estimate.
  •   FedEx Ground and FedEx Enhance Home Delivery  We may at our discretion, ship your item to you with a Signature Required.
  •   United States Postal Service for APO's, FPO's, Alaska, Hawaii (Insurance optional, just ask)
      Insurance on all USPS shipped items is Optional on your Part. Please let us know if you would like it added.
International Shipping

All international shipping is done through the United States Post Office.
International packages incur a $3.50 Handling Fee.
Please contact us for postage rates and fees. Insurance is recommended when possible.
At times, we may, depending on the shipping distention, Charge your credit card a week to 10 days before we ship your order. This is to protect against fraud.

 

The Process:
When you place an order on web site, we turn around and send you two e-mails. One from our Shopping Cart server, with a copy of your order, and one from our own server, with some useful information.  All orders are received on a first come, first out basis, unless otherwise stated. Remember we make a custom made product and do not have much in stock.
 
Wooden Items:
Please remember we custom manufacture all wood made items. Shipping times may very due to the hand crafted nature of our products and depending on current supply, seasonal demand and or time of year.  Please contact us if you need it by a certain date or time frame. We do everything possible to make that time.
Rush Orders
Priority Rush, just let us know if you need it sooner, we do our best to accommodate your needs.
 
Wire and Wrought Iron:
All Wrought Iron and wire items are shipped the next day in most cases. (Excluding Holidays, weekends and closed days)
 
Damaged Item / Claims
All shipments through FedEx and are insured. Any and all damage claims are
the sole responsibility of the customer. If necessary we can assist you with any paper work
or invoice documentation you may need.

Please remember to keep any and all packaging for FedEx inspection.

We may at our discretion, ship your item to you with a Signature Required.

Any and all items requested or sent via United States Parcel Service, are insured at our discretion.  If no insurance is requested, We assume no liability. If damage occurs, you may process your claim thru your local post office.

 

Tracking and Total Charged:
All orders are shipped with a Tracking number or a USPS delivery conformation number. We may, at our discretion add a signature required on some items. All customer orders, once shipped are sent an E-mail with a tracking and total charged to their Credit Card.  Please~ if you have spam blocking software, a Hotmail, AOL e-mail account, you may not get this e-mail.
PayPal Order:
We are happy to take Paypal® here at Robinson's Woodcrafts. If you placed an order and used Paypal as your payment option.  Your funds, either from your Paypal account or your Credit card have been sent to us immediately.  Since shipping is not included in the final item cost, we must contact you again right before your item is ready for shipping for the shipping cost. This e-mail will be transmitted though Paypal "Request Money option" and will have your order number in the Subject line.
 
Returns:
Returns must be reported with 10 days of receiving merchandise. If you decide to return your merchandise for any reason, it must be returned in its original condition within 30 days. Shipping charge and special  orders are not refundable. A 20% restocking fee will be charged on refused or returned orders.

Signature / No Signature Required Policy:


Due to recent customer doorstep thefts, we are re-thinking our "No Signature Required Policy"

If you are receiving this e-mail. Your package is being shipped with this option required. Please pay special attaching to the e-mail your going to receive from FedEx about your order. In this e-mail your given options on how you would like your package delivered and signed for. The required signature is an
"indirect signature required" This means, FedEx can obtain a signature from someone at the delivery address; from a neighbor, building manager or someone at the neighboring address; or the recipient can also leave a FedEx Door Tag authorizing release of the package without anyone present.
